Olga began working in the fitness industry after experiencing first-hand the physical challenges that come with working a 9-5 office job.
“I would sit for 8 hours a day and eventually became less and less active. I started to have problems with my upper back and got to the point where I couldn’t go another day without visiting a physiotherapist. Gradually I started gaining weight and acquired bad knee pain, which added lots of discomfort and anxiety to an already stressful lifestyle.”
Realizing that there are so many other people who are experiencing similar issues and struggles to hers, Olga used this experience as a healthy push to change her lifestyle.
“I lost 20lbs, my back and knee pain went away, and I never came back to the old me. I knew I had to do something to help other people to become their better selves so I went to Personal Training school, got certified, and made it my mission to help people improve their health by being active.”
When working with clients, Olga adopts a very balanced and individualized approach to ensure that exercise becomes something you want to do, rather than something you have to do.
“I always listen and empathise and make it my priority to tailor a program to a person’s individual needs and preferences. Being active and exercising should be enjoyable and flexible enough to accommodate other plans and events happening in a person’s life.”
