Kitsilano Personal Training Studio Updates During COVID-19

March 12, 2020 - 2 minutes read

To our Alive & Well family,

The wellbeing of our clients and team is a fundamental priority at Alive & Well and, as the COVID-19 Coronavirus strain is making its way around the world, we wanted to inform you of the steps we’re taking at the studio to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

What we’re doing

We are actively monitoring updates regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus and following guidance and recommendations from Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and the BC Centre for Disease Control. In line with these recommendations, Alive & Well is ensuring that we are:

Implementing an additional deep clean of the studio each day, especially focused on high-touch surfaces and equipment.

Providing additional disinfecting wipes and liquid hand sanitizer, tissues and waste bins throughout the studio.

Continuing to monitor the situation and adjusting protocol as recommended.

What you can do

Please help us prevent the spread of any virus by ensuring that you:

Wash your hands well both before and after your session.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as much as possible.

Bring a water bottle to your workout (we have removed the single-use cups) and, if you have left a water bottle at the studio, take it home with you after your next session.

Give us as much notice as possible if you’re feeling sick, especially with a fever.

Additionally, if you, or any member of your household, have been travelling in China, Iran or Italy within the past few weeks, please let us know prior to your next session.

Let’s all work together to stay healthy and safe.

If you have questions or concerns at this time, please don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. We appreciate your understanding as this public health situation continues to develop.
