Alive & Well COVID-19 Safety Protocols

In order to ensure a safe and healthy return-to-business for our clients, team and community, we have implemented some new policies for our in-studio sessions. As these processes may evolve over time, please check back often for updates.

Last update: September 6, 2021

Our physical distancing and cleaning procedures

Staggered appointments

We have designated a 15 minute block between each session that is used to complete a thorough cleaning of the equipment and workout space. This also ensures limited crossover between clients entering and leaving the facility.

Regular sanitization of surfaces

At regular intervals throughout the day, we complete a full sanitization of the studio using medical-grade cleaning supplies.

Thorough equipment sanitization

Prior to and following each session, all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to reduce the risk of contact transfer.

What you should know for your sessions

BC Vaccine Card

In accordance with the Provincial Health Order, we will be requiring proof of vaccination for all in-studio sessions starting Sep 13, 2021. Please be sure to bring your BC Vaccine Card to your in-person sessions to avoid disruption of services.

BYOM

Bring your own mat (etc). To limit the use of shared equipment, we ask that you please bring your own yoga mat and towel to each session.

On-time arrival

Please arrive to your session at the designated start-time. If you have arrived early, please wait outside, practicing safe physical distancing if there are other clients also waiting.

Hand washing requirement

Upon arrival to the studio and prior to leaving after your session, you will be asked to please wash or sanitize your hands.

Masking up

As per the current Provincial Health Order, we are asking everyone entering and leaving the studio to please wear a mask. If you are 2 weeks past your full vaccination, you may opt to remove your mask while exercising.

Contactless payment

We are not accepting cash or cheque payments at this time. If you typically pay by either means, we would be happy to set you up with automated online payments or eTransfer.

Team and client responsibility

If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms related to COVID-19...

Please stay home. If you exhibit symptoms while in the studio, you may be respectfully asked to leave.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come into contact with someone who has...

We ask that you please not come to the studio for 14 days.

If you have travelled...

Please follow government guidelines and do not return to the studio until it is deemed safe to do so.

If you are in a high risk category or take care of someone who is...

Please practice personal responsibility and determine if returning to the studio is the right decision at this time. By choosing to attend sessions in the studio, even with increased safety measures, you acknowledge and accept the additional risks associated with the global health pandemic COVID-19.

Please Note

In the event that an in-studio client or team member contracts COVID-19, we will be notifying all parties who have entered our doors within the preceding 14 days via email about the update to ensure that they are made aware of the risk and are taking the appropriate self-isolation response.
