You're in good (clean) hands

Alive & Well COVID-19 Reopening Plan

In order to ensure a safe and healthy return-to-business for our clients, team and community, we have started implementing some new policies for our in-studio sessions. As these processes may evolve over time, please check back often for updates.

Last update: July 7, 2020

Our social distancing and cleaning procedures

Reduced studio capacity

We have limited our studio capacity to have no more than 5 people in the facility at any given time. The studio will be open by appointment only and we will be running up to two (2) training sessions at a time. We will not yet be offering Solo Sessions.

Social distance guide markers

We have sectioned off the studio to indicate the areas in which the trainer and client are to respectively remain throughout each session.

Contactless training and stretching

We love this part of the workout too, but safety first! We will be running our sessions as no-touch training to allow adequate space for social distancing.

Staggered appointments

We have designated a 15 minute block between each session that will be used to complete a thorough cleaning of the equipment and workout space. This will also ensure limited crossover between clients entering and leaving the facility.

Regular sanitization of surfaces

At regular intervals throughout the day, we will be completing a full sanitization of all frequently-touched surfaces throughout the studio using medical-grade cleaning supplies.

Thorough equipment sanitization

Prior to and following each session, all equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to reduce the risk of contact transfer.

What you should know for your sessions

Screening form and waiver

To confirm your first session back, you will be asked to complete a Client Screening Questionnaire and Waiver Addendum to indicate that you are not currently sick and understand the risks of returning to the studio.

BYOM

Bring your own mat (etc). To limit the use of shared equipment, we ask that you please bring your own yoga mat, towel and pre-filled water bottle to each session. We have removed the water station and front seating to reduce high-traffic areas.

Contactless payment

We will not be accepting cash or cheque payments at this time. If you typically pay by either means, we would be happy to set you up with automated online payments or eTransfer.

On-time arrival

Please arrive to your session at the designated start-time and wait outside until your coach comes to greet you. If there are other clients also waiting, please be sure to practice safe physical distancing.

Hand washing requirement

Upon arrival to the studio and prior to leaving after your session, you will be asked to please wash or sanitize your hands. Don’t take it personally, we’re doing this with everyone.

Limited use of washrooms

Please be sure to change at home and only use the washroom (outside of washing your hands) if absolutely required.

Team and client responsibility

If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms related to COVID-19...

Please stay home. If you exhibit symptoms while in the studio, you may be respectfully asked to leave.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come into contact with someone who has...

We ask that you please not come to the studio for 14 days.

If you have travelled...

Please follow government guidelines and do not return to the studio until it is deemed safe to do so.

If you are in a high risk category or take care of someone who is...

Please practice personal responsibility and determine if returning to the studio is the right decision at this time. By choosing to attend sessions in the studio, even with increased safety measures, you acknowledge and accept the additional risks associated with the global health pandemic COVID-19.

Please Note

In the event that an in-studio client or team member contracts COVID-19, we will be notifying all parties who have entered our doors within the preceding 14 days via email about the update to ensure that they are made aware of the risk and are taking the appropriate self-isolation response.
